Privacy Policy
Effective Date: February 1, 2026
Last Updated: February 9, 2026
This Privacy Policy ("Policy") describes how Jiggle City ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, processes, and shares your information when you access or use our mobile application (the "App"), website, and related services (collectively, the "Services").
This Policy applies globally to all users. By downloading, accessing, or using the Services, you consent to the data practices described in this Policy.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information to operate the game, verify your identity, process payments, and serve advertisements. This information falls into three categories:
A. Information You Provide Directly
- Authentication Data: When you sign in (e.g., via Google Sign-In or Apple Sign-In), we collect your unique User ID and email address to create a persistent account.
- User Profile: Information you create within the App, including your chosen nickname/alias and avatar preferences.
- Customer Support: Information you provide when contacting us for help (e.g., email contents, screenshots).
B. Information Collected Automatically
- Device Information: We collect details about the device you use, including device model, operating system (OS) version, language settings, screen resolution, and IP address.
- Identifiers: We collect unique device identifiers, including the Google Advertising ID (AAID) on Android and the Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA) on iOS (subject to your permission settings).
- Usage Data: We track your interactions within the game, such as gameplay statistics (e.g., "slaps," "stretches"), items purchased, session length, crash logs, and timestamps.
- Location Data: We collect general location data based on your IP address (e.g., country or city level) to ensure tax compliance and serve relevant ads. We do not collect precise GPS coordinates.
C. Information from Third Parties
- Payment Processors: When you make an In-App Purchase, the transaction is processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. We receive a digital receipt to validate the purchase, but we do not see or store your credit card details or banking information.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your data for the following legitimate business purposes:
- Core Gameplay: To sync your progress (stats, inventory, currency) to the cloud so you can play across multiple devices.
- Monetization: To serve rewarded video ads and banner ads via Google AdMob, and to validate "Jiggle Pass" subscriptions or one-time purchases.
- Analytics: To analyze player behavior (via Google Analytics for Firebase) to improve game balance, fix bugs, and optimize performance.
- Security: To detect cheats, hacks, or unauthorized access to accounts.
- Communication: To send push notifications (if you have opted in) regarding game updates or events.
3. Advertising and Tracking
We partner with third-party advertising networks, primarily Google AdMob, to display advertisements.
- Personalized Ads: With your consent, our partners may use your device identifiers (IDFA/AAID) to show ads relevant to your interests.
- Non-Personalized Ads: If you opt out of tracking, you will still see ads, but they may be less relevant to you. These ads still use cookies or identifiers for frequency capping and fraud detection.
You can manage your advertising preferences in your device settings (Settings > Privacy > Tracking on iOS; Settings > Google > Ads on Android).
4. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell your personal data to data brokers. We share your information only as follows:
- Service Providers: We share data with Google Firebase (backend hosting, database, authentication) to operate the Service.
- Ad Partners: We share device identifiers and technical usage data with Google AdMob for advertising purposes.
- Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or to protect the safety and rights of Jiggle City or its users.
- Business Transfers: If Jiggle City is involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, your data may be transferred as part of that transaction.
5. International Data Transfers
Your information may be transferred to—and maintained on—computers located outside of your state, province, country, or other governmental jurisdiction where the data protection laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction.
Specifically, our servers are hosted by Google Cloud Platform (Firebase), primarily in the United States. By using the Services, you consent to the transfer of your information to the United States.
6. Your Rights (Regional Specifics)
A. European Union (GDPR) & UK Users
If you are located in the EEA or UK, you have the following rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR):
- Right to Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Right to Rectification: Correct inaccurate data.
- Right to Erasure ("Right to be Forgotten"): Request deletion of your data. (See Section 7).
- Right to Restrict Processing: Limit how we use your data.
- Legal Basis: We process your data based on Contractual Necessity (to provide the game) and Legitimate Interests (analytics, security). Ads are served based on Consent.
B. United States (California - CCPA/CPRA)
For residents of California:
- Right to Know: You may request details about the categories of personal information we collect and share.
- Right to Delete: You may request the deletion of your personal information.
- "Do Not Sell My Info": We do not sell personal information in the traditional sense. However, allowing ad networks to collect device IDs may be considered "sharing" under California law. You may opt out by adjusting your device tracking settings.
C. Brazil (LGPD)
Users in Brazil have rights similar to GDPR, including the right to confirm the existence of processing, access data, and anonymize or delete unnecessary data.
7. Data Retention & Deletion
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you wish to delete your data:
- In-App Deletion: Go to Settings > Delete Account Data within the App. This creates an automated request to wipe your Authentication record, Firestore database entry, and Storage files immediately.
- Manual Request: You may also email us at sallouche.dev@gmail.com with the subject line "Data Deletion Request".
Warning: Deletion is permanent. You will lose all game progress, purchases, and currency.
8. Children's Privacy
The Service is not intended for children under the age of 13 (or 16 in certain European jurisdictions). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If we become aware that a child has provided us with personal data, we will take steps to verify and delete such information.
9. Security
We implement industry-standard security measures (including SSL/TLS encryption for data in transit) to protect your information. However, no electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Jiggle City shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data or profits, arising out of your use of the Service.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Policy on this page. Your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes your acknowledgment and acceptance of the new Policy.
